ESAPS launches its first European survey on Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) - and we invite all aesthetic plastic surgeons across Europe to take part.
Professional Liability Insurance plays a crucial role in protecting both surgeons and patients. Yet, the conditions, requirements, and coverage can vary widely from one European country to another. To gain a clearer picture of this landscape, the ESAPS Membership Committee has prepared its first survey on PLI among European aesthetic plastic surgeons.
By sharing your experience, you will help ESAPS:
- Understand national differences and challenges related to professional liability insurance.
- Identify areas where harmonisation or advocacy could benefit surgeons and patients alike.
- Build a stronger evidence base for future European-level initiatives.
This survey is the first in a new series of ESAPS studies designed to explore essential aspects of professional practice within our field. The insights gathered will be analysed and shared transparently, helping to shape better conditions for all European aesthetic plastic surgeons.
Deadline for participation: 15 November 2025
Take the survey here.
We also encourage National Society Presidents and managers to share this survey among their members. Broad participation will ensure the most accurate and meaningful results.
Your input truly matters - together we can strengthen our profession and improve the standards that guide aesthetic plastic surgery across Europe.
Thank you for your time and contribution.
